Chicago Bears QB Jimmy Clausen Throws First Touchdown in the NFL since 2012 Preseason [GIF]

The former Notre Dame signal caller was done. He hasn't played in the regular season since his rookie season with the Carolina Panthers. He hadn't taken a snap with an NFL team in over a year, but for some reason the Chicago Bears decided to bring him in to training camp.

Friday night against the Philadelphia Eagles he did his best to make sure they want to keep him around for awhile.

On the night he was 7-13 for 150 yards and two touchdowns. The first came in the third quarter on a 73-yard bomb to Chris Williams to make the score 28-23 and the second a few minutes later (a 22-yarder to Dante Rosario).

In case that wasn't enough to catch the coach's eye he had a nice little 16-yard scamper as well.
