Coastal Carolina Chanticleers to Install Teal-Colored Football Field?

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers are a relatively young football program. As part of the FCS and a member of the Big South they are not exactly a team you hear about much unless they are playing one of the big boys in the FBS--like last year when South Carolina stomped them 70-10.

But starting next season that is all going to change.

Move over Boise State with your blue field and Eastern Washington with its red one. In 2015 the Chanticleers will be playing on a teal one!

Teal field turf is coming to Brooks Stadium! Installation of the teal turf will begin at the conclusion of the 2014 season.
