Fantasy Football Sleeper of the Year: Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce [GIF]

Over the next couple of weeks football fans around the world are going to take part in a preseason tradition--fantasy football drafts. Picking the studs is easy. You don't even have to know football to do that. The real trick is in picking the sleepers. You know--the guys no one knows about that will blow up once the regular season starts.

Guys like Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Technically Kelce is a second year player, but he didn't play last season thanks to knee surgery. So far the former Cincinnati Bearcat has been looking healthy in preseason action, but more importantly he's been effective.

Sunday night against the Carolina Panthers he caught all four passes thrown his way for 63 yards and a touchdown. Oh--in case you didn't notice in the GIF he's fast as hell and can carry fools that don't hit like real men.

In case you're wondering--he's done it before.

Do you want to draft him as your No. 1 tight end? Absolutely not, but if you don't get one of the proven tight ends he will be worth picking up late. Anthony Fasano is listed as the No. 1 for now, but he is not much of a receiving threat.

The 260-pound, 6'5" Kelce is.
