Houston Texans CB Andre Hal Sets New Team Record in Preseason Loss to the 49ers [GIF]

Not much happened for the Houston Texans in Thursday night's preseason finale against the San Francisco 49ers. The team had hoped either Case Keenum or Tam Savage would take a firm grasp on the No. 2 QB job, but they didn't.

Since they couldn't get any offense going it fell to the defense to help out and put some points on the board--so they did.

Cornerback Andre Hal picked off Josh Johnson's pass late in the third and returned it 77 yards for a touchdown. In the process he ended up making a little history. It was the second time during the preseason that he had returned an interception for a touchdown.

Which is a new Houston Texans record!

Yeah, it's a preseason record. Who cares, right? Well--I bet Hal does at least.
