Maybe the New York Giants Running Game is Not Going to Suck This Year After All [GIF]

Last season the New York Giants had one of the worst running attacks in the NFL (29th with 1332 yards). David Wilson was supposed to be the answer to that issue, but after an injury knocked him out for the season they didn't have a Plan B.

However, minutes in to the team's second preseason game there is reason to believe/hope that this year is going to be a different.

Against the Buffalo Bills rookie Andre Williams looked pretty good with 48 yards and a touchdown off of seven carries. Saturday night former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Rashad Jennings took an early hand off 73-yards for a touchdown.

ESPN has Peyton Hillis penciled in as the starter. In the Hall of Fame game he had  respectable 36 yards on seven carries.

Separately, the only one worth getting excited about is Andre Williams, but combined they could end up being a three-headed monster to be reckoned with.
