Eventually officials decided that conditions were way too dangerous to play and the Florida/Idaho game was called off.
Looking at this I can completely understand why.

It takes a lot for a football game to be cancelled. No one wants to figure out how to make them up so it's standard practice to do whatever it takes to finish a game. It may mean waiting hours and hours in order to do so (and it has happened), but you have to do what you have to do.
Not in this case.
