Ron Artest Changing his Name Again--to Panda Friend?

Ron Artest definitely walks to the beat of his own drum. That much we know for certain about the former NBA player. For proof you need to look no further than what he changed his name to--Metta World Peace. Folks change their names all the time, but to something like this?

Now it looks like he is going to do it once again.

Artest is going to be playing in China next season so in honor of the next step of his career he has said he is changing his name again:

New Chinese name coming soon. You guys are going to love it!!!!

This rumor has yet to be substantiated, but according to the China Daily he plans on changing it to "Panda Friend." Why Panda Friend? Well--no one knows for certain. He has tweeted his intention to visit the pandas with his daughter when he makes the move to China.

Artest has yet to comment on the name.
