WATCH: Boston Red Sox 2B Dustin Pedroia Steals 2nd and 3rd Base on Same Play

Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is a capable base stealer. In eight+ seasons with the Red Sox he has 124 total stolen bags to his name; in four of his eight full seasons he recorded at least 20. So while he is no Willy Mayes Hayes he is no slouch either.

That being said, I can't recall the last time I heard about a guy stealing two bases in one play without an errant throw involved!



Thanks to a shift the Angels had on for David Ortiz the third baseman was covering second so when Pedroia slid in to second there was no one covering third!

Suffice it to say--easiest stolen base ever.
