WATCH: Jacksonville Jaguars Rookie QB Blake Bortles Shows a Pretty Sweet Touch During Scrimmage

The Jacksonville Jaguars are hopeful that former UCF quarterback Blake Bortles will be the next great QB in the NFL. As good as he looked in college and has looked in practice you just can't tell what a guy is going to be like till you see him play in a game.

Saturday night they got a taste of things to come during the team's annual scrimmage--and it was good!


Scrimmages are in essence just a glorified team drill during practice, but without playing an actual opponent they are the closest thing to a game-like situation there is. This, of course, is just one play, but to see a QB put a perfect touch on a ball with his back against the end zone is pretty darn impressive.

Now if only the team's best wide receivers could get healthy....
