WATCH: Oakland Raiders Rookie LB Khalil Mack Making Raider Nation Glad He's on the Team

The Oakland Raiders are trying to climb out of the cellar and so far it looks like they just might be able to do so. Now to be honest--as long as Matt Schaub is at the helm the best you can hope for is mediocre, and that is because there are some real playmakers on defense.

You know--guys like rookie linebacker Khalil Mack.

He made his presence felt against the Packers with five tackles (four solo; two for a loss) and an interception. Along with the rest of the defense (guys like Charles Woodson, D.J. Hayden, Justin Tuck, etc.) teams will find scoring against the Raiders tough.

As long as Schaub doesn't throw too many of those things he became infamous last season for these guys will keep it interesting!
