WATCH: Rugby Player Mangles Finger in Tackle; Gets Up and Makes the Next One Too

Football season is finally here. That also means half the league is already injured. Many of these injuries are legit; many not so much. For those guys you can't help but question their toughness. Maybe what coaches should do is send some of them overseas to play a little rugby. If they survive a season they get signed.

That being said, could you see many of today's NFL studs getting a finger mangled as bad as this guy and getting back up to make the next play?

I know I can't. Now back in the day there were some guys that would (right Ronnie Lott), but nowadays I don't think so.

The player in question--Shannon Boyd--made the next tackle after his finger was jacked up and got in on the next one too!
