WATCH: San Francisco 49ers Finally Score First Touchdown of the 2014 Season

It took nearly 10 quarters of play for the San Francisco 49ers to score a touchdown, but late in Sunday's preseason game against the San Diego Chargers they finally did. The fact that it took this long for the 49er offense to crack the end zone is not the most surprising part--who led them there is.

He may not have done much in Jacksonville and up until Sunday he had not done much in San Francisco, but Blaine Gabbert did what Colin Kapernick has yet to do this season--score.

The final play of the 68-yard drive was a 6-yard pass from Gabbert to Vance McDonald:

First of many, right 49ers fans? Just not from Gabbert....
