But it didn't because Jerry Jones had to comment on it. At first he said he didn't notice an extraordinary amount of red in the crowd (yeah, right), but now he's changing course and saying sommething else altogether.

According to Jones Cowboys fans have a good head for business and many of them sold their tickets on the secondary market for a tidy profit (via SportsDay DFW):
“The other thing that happened is our ticket, that’s the highest premium that we’ve had since we’ve opened the stadium for a football game. We had 91,000 people there. And a $90 ticket was going for $300, for example. We might have fans that might take the premium, watch the game on TV. [It would] be a good way to average out for the year for them on their overall price of watching the Cowboys...."Ummm...okay. So apparently Dallas fans have a head for business and don't want to see what was once the greatest rivalry in the NFL.
He said a lot more in the radio interview the above comment came from. He mentioned how there is often a large sea of blue at certain away games. His comments on the party pass section and suites were a little confusing, but it sounded like he was trying to say a good number of Dallas fans were busy partying (really not sure though).
What was really interesting was when he added that even though it was a great day for ticket sales he wants a better team than he has.
That';s good to know Jerry. We've been wondering about that.
