So it must suck to be him; to know that his actions could cause the team to be upset this weekend. There is nothing to worry about though because much of the student body has his back.

They've been going after the people that tweeted Winston's infamous sexually explicit cry because it was their tweets that caused Winston to get suspended (not his actions):
The FSU students that tweeted and got Jameis suspended.. Smh

FSU students congrats on selling out your QB for some retweets!

One guy tried to deal with the mess, but seemed to get tired of it after awhile:
#FSUTwitter feel free to hold me accountable. Had no idea something so little and stupid could blow up, but that's social media nowadays.

It might have made him a little paranoid too:
Just got rear-ended. I guess folks are more mad about my tweet than I originally thought.

The harassment must have gotten pretty intense for some of the people:
By my count, the 8 folks who tweeted Winston incident: 3 deleted their accounts, 3 locked acct down, 2 still public #FSUTwitter

Social media is a great tool for bringing people together and giving fans access to their favorite athletes and stars, but it seems to bring the worst out in some people. Should they have tweeted Winston's comments? Sure. That's what social media is for.
Maybe next time Winston will think twice about something he does rather than just apologize for it later after it embarasses the team and university.
