Kansas State HC Bill Snyder: Auburn Didn't Win the Game; K-State Lost It

Thursday night's Auburn/Kansas State game was suposed to feature two of the best teams in the nation. It was supposed to be a chance for Auburn to prove they still belong on top and for K-State to prove they are a team to be reckoned with. Instead, what fans got was an Auburn team that couldn't capitalize very much on K-State's many, many mistakes.

K-State missed three field goals and had three turnovers that lead to two field goals for Auburn and cost the Wildcats a touchdown.

Auburn ended up winning 20-14. When asked if he though his team lost the game or Auburn won it Snyder's response was understandable:

While he has a point what he's forgetting is that one of the many signs of a good team is being able to capitalize on the other team's mistakes. Auburn didn't do much with K-State's missteps, but they did generate two field goals from turnovers and lost a touchdown to another.

So they capitalized enough.
