Michigan QB Shane Morris Injured and Concussed But Brady Hoke Still Allowed Him to Play [VIDEO]

It's time for Brady Hoke to go. The Wolverines are getting beat at home, and not in close games against the nation's best teams. There home schedule was considered soft before the season started, but they have barely been competitive. If the poor product on the field is not enough maybe his disregard for the healthy and safety of his players should be cause.

Either he wasn't paying attention or just didn't care how bad quarterback Shane Morris was hurting.

Any coach will tell you that once a game starts everyone is hurting to some degree. That great players learn to play through it. Good coaches, however, will also mention how there is a difference between being hurt and being injured. When you are injured, of course, you need to come out.

Shane Morris should have come out and at least been checked by the trainers when he could hardly walk after getting his leg bent up underneath a defender. He defintely should have been taken out of the game when the poor kid had to be held up by his offensive line.

But no. He stayed in.

Morris clearly wanted to stay in. Like any player he just wanted to show his heart and desire; that he wasn't going to quit. That is where the coach and training staff have to save a player from himself.

Hoke didn't do that.

He can't win games and he is not taking care of his players. Sounds like it is time to go.

  2. I know I am in the minority on this, his head impacted the ground when he fell, but I don't think he was concussed. He was wobbly because his leg was giving out and probably because he was hit so hard in the chest, he probably had a hard time breathing. The hit was late and high and should have been penalty, but I think we'll hear - eventually - that he wasn't concussed.
