PHOTO: Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles Send Devon Still's Daughter Awesome Care Package

Like Jerry Maguire said, we live in a mean, cruel, cynical world. We see evidence of that every day with countless stories about Ray Rice, an NFL cover-up, Roger Goodell's excuses and so much more. It seems that every time you turn on your computer or scan your favorite sports blogs (like FatManWriting.com) there's another story about someone lying, cheating, or doing something else dastardly.

So when we get a random act of kindness like what Chip Kelly and the Eagles did recently for Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman and his daughter it deserves to be recognized and celebrated.

Still's daughter Leah has a type of pediatric cancer called neuroblastoma. Earlier this week she had surgery to rumor the tumor from her abdomen (successful, by the way). It's pretty major surgery so she is still in the hospital recovering from it.

What does everyone spending time in the hospital need? A care package--which Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles sent.

Like New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton who bought a 100 Still jerseys as a show of support (all proceeds from his jersey sales are going to help fight pediatric cancers) Kelly has no ties to Still.

He and the Eagles are just doing the right thing. Well done gentlemen.
