Army Veteran Brian Keaton Throws Out Grenade-Like First Pitch For Nationals-Giants Game [VIDEO]

First pitches are often done by celebrities, but the Nationals decided to go another route for Game Two of their NLDS with the Giants. They invited retired army veteran Brian Keaton out to take the honor. Most people would have just waved to the crowd, thrown the pitch, and retreated back in to the stands.

Not Retired U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Brian Keaton. He attacked.

His grenade toss doesn't exactly make it across the plate, but it doesn't matter. For those moments on the field he owned it, made it his own, and gave the fans a show they will not soon forget.

Yeah, we haven't forgotten 50 Cent's horrific first pitch either, but we laugh at him. Keaton's was freaking awesome.

Thank you for your service to our country and for one of the best first pitches in recent history.
