Houston Texans RB Arian Foster is the Most Frustrating Running Back in the NFL [GIF]

When Arian Foster emerged from the Texans practice squad a few years back no one would have guessed he would eventually become one of the best running backs in the NFL. He has certainly done that, but in the process he has become one of the most frustrating (at least for fantasy owners if not for fans in general).

As great as he can be it has become nearly impossible to know whether he is going to play or if he'll show up.

Foster has been listed as questionable on the injury report after missing a game earlier in the season with an injury. With his history there is a good chance that he will be on the injury report for the remainder of the season.

He'll always be listed as questionable which equates to a 25 percent chance that he'll play.

This of course means nothing. Players listed as questionable play all the time, but for fantasy purposes it kind of sucks. It's especially harsh when he is always considered a 'game day decision.'

Last week he was listed as such and he played, but those that did probably wished they didn't. So going in to the Houston game the scenario was the same. However this time if you left him off you paid for it.

The man had 172 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns, but that is not going to make the call any easier next week. The Texans play the Colts on Thursday night.
