Players celebrate all the time on the football field. Sometimes they should because the play was that freaking awesome. Sometimes they shouldn't because it was really nothing, but they think the world revolves around them so they do. Too often what they do can be perceived as rude to the other team and the kind of thing the opposition may want to smack them silly over.
