When the Kliff Kingsbury Era began having the youngest--and according the ladies hottest--head coach in the land was enough to drive attendance. It helped that the team won games in pretty exciting fashion too. Then the wheels fell off towards the end of last season, and they have yet to really get them back on this year.
So with a record of 2-3 and a tough West Virginia team coming to town they are resorting to a waffle promotion--#TurnDownForWaffles--to help drive attendance.

This is one of those things that you don't want to be real--unless you are among the first 10K going to the game and want something to eat--but alas Red Raiders fans it is.
The game is sold out so it's not like they need to drive sales or anything. With the way the team has struggled it seems they want to make sure the student body shows up.
Don't worry guys. Kingsbury is a solid coach and there is talent on that team. Things will turn around. Till then who is bringing the syrup?
