A hit by Denver linebacker Von Miller on Arizona quarterback Drew Stanton led to the Cardinals having to put in their third quarterback of the season, rookie Logan Thomas. The Virginia Tech standout has a lot of promise, but the Cardinals were hoping to develop him a little more before having to rely on him. Injuries will wreak havoc on a team's plans.
