When players make a big play we often see them do some kind of celebration. Sometimes they are cool, sometimes stupid, sometimes wacky, and sometimes only the players know what they are. What players typically try not to do, however, is hit the opposing team during the celebration.
They might not like that (and you risk a penalty too).

So it's a good thing it was pretty clear Ricardo Mathews didn't mean to strike Louis Vasquez. Although it looks like Vasque might have thought about smacking him (can't say I blame him).
