Prior to the Louisville-Kentucky game that is exactly what happened.
Fighting is never good, and is really one of the stupidest things players can do on a football field, but what makes this incident a little worse than normal is how a couple of the coaches got involved. Rather than just separate their own players from the mess they got it in to instead:

Dan Berezowitz deserves a healthy amount of shame and blame for his part in the incident, but Petrino should especially be ashamed. As the head coach you cannot lose control or act in an unprofessional manner at any time. Using the other guy as an excuse would not cut for one of the players and it doesn't for him.
You always have to set the example at all times when you are the head coach and in this case he did not.
