Rex Ryan Flies Toy Helicopter Around New York Jets Facility With 'Go Jets' Banner

It has not been a banner season in New York for fans of the Jets once again. The team's 1-8 record has brought on demands from the fans to fire the team's general manager John Idzik. Some fans are even wasting their hard-earned money to pay for some billboard and have planes fly over practice with a 'Fire John Idzik' banner.

Jets head coach Rex Ryan has always been one for defending his people--and he did just that in wonderful fashion at practice Thursday.

Ryan flew a toy helicopter around the team's indoor facility (where they were having practice) with a banner that read 'Go Jets.'
"I admit it, it came from me," Ryan said after practice. "It never worked exactly how we wanted it to work. We were gonna buzz the tower a little bit."
By the tower he was referring to the press--which would have been perfect.

[Amazingly video of this has yet to surface online, but as soon as it does I will embed it or link it here.]
