Things like that you expect in Pee Wee leagues where participation is more important that wins and losses. When you get in to high school though you expect the post season to be set aside for the teams with the best records.

That is not the case in one Texas district.
Houston Scarborough is headed to the post season where they will face off with West-Orange Stark for the right to move on. What makes this interesting is Scarborough's record--the failed to win a single game all season. In fact the average margin at the end of the night was 53-8.
But it gets better. The team is on a 57 game losing streak. So how in the heck did they make it in to the post season?
In Texas high school football each district gets to send four teams to the post season. The district Houston Scarborough is in only had five, but one school nearly closed and to stay open it had to cancel its athletics programs.
So with only four teams in the district Scarborough was guaranteed a spot before the first game.
Wow.
If this isn't the first high school team to make the playoffs without winning a single game it must be one of very few. Going in to the game the chance that the losing streak will end is not very good, but you never know.
On any given Friday...
