#UFCSydney Was All About Some Good Ole Fashioned A** Whoopings [GIFs]

When the novice fan tunes in to a UFC event they are typically thinking that these fighters are going to destroy each other in the ring because when it come to fighters that's what the average person thinks fighters do--destroy people. This isn't the playground though. This is the Octagon. While mixed martial arts can be brutal there is an art to it--a beauty--as well.

That being said--at UFC Fight Night: Rockhold vs. Bisping some guys won by using some crazy submission holds there was a whole lot of good ole fashioned a** kicking going on as well.

The beat down Chris Clements gave Vic Grujic reminded me of what my brother used to do to me growing up during commercials of the Saturday afternoon kung-fu flicks. Man I hated those movies.

How long did it take Louis Smolka to beat Richie Vaculik? 18 seconds? Talk about an *ss kicking!

When Dylan Andrews tried to take Sam Alvey down, but Alvey landed on his head he was doomed. A few wild punches were all it took for this one to end:

Technically Jake Mathews beat Vagner Rocha via submission, but that flurry of punches made it possible:

Poor Walt Harris. Soa Palelei took his pride with this one:

Robert Whitaker must have a really hard knee. I actually  felt kind of sorry for Clint Hester in this one:

Had Al Laquinta charged  Ross Pearson after knocking him down this one could have turned ugly:
