The Arizona Cardinals have been given every reason to think they had the man for the next couple of years in Carson Palmer. He's a little older than they would like hence just giving him a three-year contract extension, but he has definitely earned it.
It just figures that days after signing it he goes down with a knee injury against the St. Louis Rams.

He was able to walk off the field on his own, but ended up taking a cart back to the locker room. No word yet on what it might be, but with him not getting hit at the time it went out it certainly doesn't look good.
