WATCH: Texas A&M Defender Appears to Go For the Block Before the Ball Was Kicked

Late in the fourth quarter Texas A&M managed to force LSU to go for a field goal effectively keeping the game within reach since they would only be down by six. Of course a miss or a block would be great too, and the team nearly got one thanks to their speed rusher off the edge. There was just one problem though.

He was too fast.

When it comes to field goals and extra points guys are taught to go for where the ball will be so they do not end up hitting the kicker and drawing a penalty. Had he been a half-second slower it would have worked.
