WATCH: Zach LaVine's First Basket for the Minnesota Timberwolves Was Almost a Really, Really Cool Alley-Oop

Zach LaVine was an absolute stud at UCLA. Enough of one that the Minnesota Timberwolves picked up the youngster with the No. 13 pick in the first round of the draft. He didn't show the coaches enough during the preseason to warrant giving him a lot of playing time just yet. So going in to his fifth game as a professional he had yet to hit his first basket (not counting preseason of  course).

So when the ball was thrown up for what looked like an epic alley oop it appeared that his first basket was going to be pretty awesome.

Eh--important thing is he scored, There will be plenty of time for high flying dunks in the years to come.
