Arizona State Ices Duke in Sun Bowl With Interception in the End Zone [VIDEO]

For a time it looked like Duke was the team of destiny in the Sun Bowl. After battling back from a 20-3 early deficit to take the lead late in the fourth quarter for the first time in the game it seemed like things were coming together for the Blue Devils to win their first bowl game in decades.

But it just wasn't meant to be.

After taking the lead with five minutes left thanks to Jamison Crowder's touchdown pass to Isaac Blakeney the Blue Devils kick-off team forgot to do something very important on the ensuing kick off.

Tackle.

A player later Demario Richard scored his fourth touchdown of the day (a Sun Bowl record) to retake the lead.

All was not lost though. With the way the Blue Devils had moved the ball in the second half they could make something happen. For a moment it seemed like they would.

That is, until the game ending interception (see first video).

Final Score: Arizona State 36 Duke 31
