Details of the accident are not available just yet, but apparently Cam Newton was involved in an accident in downtown Charlotte around 12:30 PM that caused one car to overturn (see above). Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was injured in one of the cars and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance (see below).

Rumors are talking about broken legs, but since that is what the hoax stories always said I wouldn't put too much stock in those rumors just yet.
