Houston Texans Will Likely Lose Tom Savage For the Season As Well After This Hit [VIDEO]

The Houston Texans will likely be looking to sign anyone--and I mean anyone--to play quarterback for the final two games of the season (Case Keenum?). Why? Well--after losing Ryan Fitzpatrick the team had no choice but to go with rookie Tom Savage. While it was ugly at times Savage did enough to keep the team in it.

However, late in the fourth quarter Savage was hit and had his knee bent in a way knees are not supposed to be bent.

He went back in for one more play (a game sealing interception for the Colts) likely because the Texans really didn't want to have to play emergency quarterback Shane Lechler.

Yes, the punter would have had to line up at quarterback.

Word is that Fitzpatrick has a broken leg, but that is just rumor for now. Savage did go back in, but with the way that knee was bent you know there is going to be something wrong as soon as he goes back to the locker room.

So--anyone want to play quarterback for an NFL team for two weeks?
