Stanford running back scored the first three touchdowns for the team with the first coming about midway through the first quarter and the other two in the second. The third came with a little under nine minutes left in the first half and gave the Cardinals a 21-7 lead:

After stretching the lead out to 35-7 in the third quarter Stanford put it on cruise control for the fourth. With back-ups in Maryland was finally able to score twice, but Stanford did as well making the final score 45-21.
