WATCH: Former Texas Longhorn Standout Jackson Jeffcoat Records First NFL Sack for the Redskins

No one would have thought the career trajectory in the NFL for Jackson Jeffcoat would have been what it is. One of the few bright spots on Mack Brown's final Texas team, most expected the former Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year to be drafted and have no trouble making a roster. Instead he went undrafted, was cut from the team that did give him a shot, and eventually picked up by the Washington Redskins practice squad.

He was promoted for the final two games of the season and I'd call it safe to say that he is going to do anything and everything possible to make sure they don't send him back to the practice squad.

Getting his first career sack against the Eagles will certainly help build his case to stay, but he may need a little help with his celebrations.
