Northern Illinois got the scoring started in the inaugural edition of the Boca Raton Bowl Tuesday night with a nice seven-play, 67-yard drive that ended with Juwan Brescacin catching 19 yard pass from Drew Hare for the score. Little did the Huskies know, but that would be the last time they would lead the Thundering Herd.
Because on the ensuing kickoff Deandre Reeves returned the ball 93-yards to tie the game up!

The game ended up being competitive throughout the first half with Marshall leading 24-13 going in to the break, but the second half was the Rakeem Cato show. Cato threw three touchdown passes and ran for another to lead Marshall to a 52-23 win.
