Throughout the first half of the Chargers-49ers game it looked like San Francisco came to play. They wanted to prove that they were not the crappy team that had been taking the field for much of the season, but one that could play solid football--and they did. However, the third quarter belonged to the Chargers who managed to pull within a touchdown after being down three TDs thanks to Dwight Freeney.
The veteran pass rusher recorded career sack No. 111 on this play causing Colin Kaepernick to fumble.

Once the pile was peeled back the refs decided it was Chargers ball and a touchdown.
In all fairness,
Kaepernick wasted no time making it up to the fans.
