Boise State RB Jay Ajayi Makes Strong Statement With Three Touchdown Game in Fiesta Bowl [GIFs]

The play that everyone is going to remember most from the Fiesta Bowl was the Statue of Liberty play that put the team up 21-0 in the first quarter in part because it was a beauty of a run, but also because of the team's history in the Fiesta Bowl with that play.

What should stand out even more though is the guy that scored on that play--running back Jay Ajayi.

Even though the Broncos went in to the Fiesta Bowl ranked No. 20 in the nation being from the Mountain West Conference much of the nation was not real familiar with the team. After watching Ajayi run for 134 touchdowns and three touchdowns on 22 carries football fans across the nation are going to be looking forward to seeing him play again.

Why? Well--because the 6' and 216 pound Ajayi has a nice combination of speed and power as he showed on his first touchdown of the day, a 56-yard run:
