Earl Thomas Surprised Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Has Soul Because He's White

Seattle Seahawks defensive back Earl Thomas is going to regret his latest comment about Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He didn't do anything stupid like give the Packers bulletin board material or anything. No, what he did was much, much worse actually.

He gave Twitter bulletin board material.

When folks get a hold of something on Twitter a single comment can quickly blow up in to a full-blown scandal after it is shared a few million times. This will not be something that goes that far, but it certainly has the potential to give Thomas a headache.

So--what did he say?

He means nothing by it, but you can imagine how Twitter is going to take it. He's pretty much being called racist for saying it. That was not his intention at all, but the perception many will take is that if a white guy were to say that about a black quarterback the white guy would be sent to sensitivity training and fined.

What I want to know is his criteria for 'soul.' That sentence there probably cuts me out (if you have to ask...).
