Florida State Players Told By Rose Bowl Officials Not to Shake Hands After the Game

With the way the game went the Florida State Seminoles were already getting blasted all over the internet before the Rose Bowl ended. Then the game ended and rather than cross the field and shake hands like they have since they were playing pee wee most of the Seminoles headed right for the locker room.

That, of course, gave the internet something else to blast Florida State over, but as it turns out it was not their fault.



According to several reports, in order to give the sponsors enough face time on camera during the trophy presentation Florida State was told by Rose Bowl officials to send most of the guys to the locker room immediately following the game.

A few guys would cross the field, but in the interest of time most would not.


That satisfied some, but Kirk Herbstreit still trashed the Seminoles because ESPN has to hate something:
