Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Named NFL MVP By Pro Football Writers Association

Football fans were treated to a number of stellar performances this season with a handful being good enough to garner MVP consideration. As the season winds down there are two that most believe will or should be named MVP--Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt.

The NFL will not announce their winners until January 31, but the Pro Football Writers Association has announced its pick.

The Pro Football Writers Association today named Aaron Rodgers as MVP, DeMarco Murray as Offensive POY and J.J. Watt as Defensive POY.

Congratulations to Rodgers, but here's hoping Watt has better luck in a couple weeks.
