It goes without saying that Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt had an epic year. Few--if any--have succeeded at harassing quarterbacks and disrupting offenses as well as he did. Many believe he could be the firs defensive player since Lawrence Taylor to win league MVP. If he doesn't he could very well be a unanimous choice for Defensive Player of the Year.
There is a good chance he could also win the Play of the Year as well. Of the 32 choices the NFL has asked the NFL to vote on he has three (most of any player).

His three are pretty phenomenal. Along with his interception return for a touchdown against Buffalo there is his touchdown reception against Cleveland and his sack/safety against Jacksonville in Week 17.

Could he win? Absolutely! However. to be honest there is some pretty stiff competition from the likes of Odell Beckham Jr, Devin Hester, Lamar Miller, Rob Gronkowski and a number of other guys.
