What the World Was Saying About Ohio State QB Cardale Jones Two Years Ago

After leading the Ohio State Buckeyes to a Big 10 Championship, Sugar Bowl win, and the National Championship the world is at the feet of quarterback Cardale Jones. In a short time he has gone from forgotten third string quarterback to the toast of the town. Folks actually thought he should go pro already!

That is how much everybody loves this kid now, but two years ago they were singing a much different tune thanks to one infamous tweet.

On a day where Jones did not feel like going to class he made the mistake of tweeting his displeasure in having to do so and why:

A stark contrast from the kid that told the press Thursday afternoon how important his education is, huh? Some folks decided to make fun of him for the turnaround, but what they said paled in comparison to what they said back then.

Best part is he spelled his own fucking name wrong in his twitter username. If cardale10 was taken wouldnt it make sense to add a last initial or change the number instead of just misspelling your name?

Not for nothing but shouldn't he lose his scholarship over this? Or at the very least be suspended? I think you have to make it very clear that this type of attitude is not okay.

This is why I very rarely cheer for individual players at any level, but especially college. They have to demonstrate they aren't entitled pieces of shit for me to care about their individual success. Especially when they have no professional future.

Obviously, Cardale Jones is going to one of those former football players eating out of trash cans or in prison because he knows nothing but football.

The new helmet room is beginning to make sense; some of these kids can't spare to lose anymore brain cells.

In all seriousness fuck this kid. So many kids 10x his intelligence would kill to have a full ride to college and this dumbass gets it just because he can play football. Also he's third string so he needs to shut the fuck up.

My first class is with this idiot. He's a smartass to our professor and creeps out all of the the women on a daily basis. Us students who actually have the academic prowess to attend this school and pay for it ourselves, are elated over this tweet. Hopefully he will be humbled by this fiasco or once Urban gets his hands on him. Kick his ass off the team, he'll never see the field anyway.
