Nebraska Coach Tim Miles Locking His Team Out of the Locker Room After Disappointing Home Loss

Nebraska head coach Tim Miles was not happy with his team after a blow out loss to Iowa at home on Sunday. It is easy to see why. The team was down 42-16 at the half while they did play better in the second half they were never able to close the gap losing 74-46 when all was said and done.

So it is understandable if he was a little bit upset with his team.

In the post-game presser he referred to his team as having half-assed it and looking like the Bad News Bears.
“You never want to throw your players under the bus,” Miles said. “But that was beyond disappointing. That’s not what we represent. ... We quit easily today, and that’s a great disappointment.”
As a result he has decided to lock the team out of their incredibly nice locker room for the time being.
“There will be chains on the doors locking it from the outside,” Miles said, “until further notice.”
When asked how he expects them to get dressed and he responded by saying they will have to get creative. Sounds like he needs to get creative if he is going to get his team to start playing some good basketball.
