Rener Gracie Critical of Ref on Twitter After Roan Carneiro Chokes Out Mark Muñoz at UFC 184 [VIDEO]

The toughest job in sports is refereeing. No one likes you. Everyone criticizes you and there is always going to be someone mad at you no matter how you do your job. However, the men and women that take the task on are still responsible for keeping out games as clean as possible and the athletes involved safe.

Many are being critical of the ref in the ring for the Roan Carneiro-Mark Muñoz fight at UFC 184. Carneiro had a rear-naked choke hold on Munoz who appeared to be out cold, but the ref still waited a few moments before calling the fight.



Folks online did not hold back in their criticism of the ref including Rener Gracie, head instructor at the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy.

Any person who doesn't understand ocular fixation should not be allowed to ref in the UFC. #ufc184
