Robert Griffin III's Cast Signed By Team Not Going For Much at Auction

Back during Week Two of the NFL season Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III injured his ankle causing him to miss a substantial amount of time; enough for the team to find out Kirk Cousins is not a better option than RG3. Griffin ended up dislocating his ankle in that game and had to have a cast put on.

Just like the kid in class with a broken arm he had most of the team sign it. Griffin has since put the cast up for auction. Since it has so many of the current team's signatures on it you would think it would go for a pretty penny, but so far that does not appear to be the case.

The auction is scheduled to end Friday afternoon, but as of Thursday afternoon the highest bid is only $1060.

Cast tend to stink so I would not want it no matter how many guys signed it or how many superstar signatures were on it, but if I was a die-hard Redskins fan I would think this would go for a bit more than a $1000.

Maybe if the team had counted him as one of the core members of the team going forward....
