But he did it anyway and it cost the team 15-yards and him over $11K.

"I do regret the fact that it cost my team 15 yards, and to the fans, ultimately I apologize to anybody I offended in any way," Baldwin said Monday night on "The Barbershop" on 710 ESPN Seattle. "It wasn't about that. I just think it was a competitive situation. So to all the 12s, all the fans, that's not what it's about. So I apologize to anyone if I offended you.
"In that moment, it was just a reaction," he added later in the show. "So obviously if I could go back, I would take it back."Okay. All that makes sense although I would give an apology a little more weight if it was given a little closer to the time the offending action took place. At this point it seems like too little too late; like it is more for him than it is the fans and his teammates.
However, I don't get what he was trying to say.
After the game he said the gesture was between him and the person it was directed at who we now know is Patriots defensive back Darrelle Revis.
According to Baldwin he did a lot of prep before hand studying the individual match-up between him and Revis. and that he had a lot of built up frustration. So with that in mind when he scored he vented his frustration by pooping out the ball.
