WATCH: Georgia WR Chris Conley Gives Scouts Something to Watch at the Combine

If you look at this stat sheet from his days playing for the Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Chris Conley did not do a lot to distinguish himself in the eyes of scouts. Last season he had just 36 receptions for 657 yards, but he did have eight touchdowns (not bad). Over the course of his four seasons he made 117 receptions for 1938 yards and 20 touchdowns. Nothing to shake a stick at of course, but you like to see more production in someone you are going to use a draft pick on.

So at the Combine it would certainly help his case if he were to do really well. That way he could at least show teams they have a heck of an athlete to work with--and he did. His 4.35 40-yard dash time is third best among wide receivers, His 45-inch standing vertical is a record for wide receivers at the Combine as was his broad jump of 11'7".

Not bad. Not bad at all.
