Whenever I talk about rugby to friends unfamiliar with the game I will tell them to watch women play. Often times they are more technical than a lot of men's teams and can still be just as viscous as the guys with the hits. I'm starting to believe you can say the same for women in the UFC.
To be fair, I do not know them well enough to say they are any more technical than the guys. However, I do think Marion Reneau and Jéssica Andrade put on one heck of a show at UFC Fight Night 61 in Brazil Sunday night. Marion went on to win via submission (triangle choke).
