WATCH: Pitt Football Players Competing in Tug of War During Spring Practice
When Pitt hired now former Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi the hope was that he could bring the same hard-nosed, hard-hitting, intense style of play his Spartans defense had become known for to the entire Panthers team. How he would do that fans are going to have to wait and see, but they ca get a taste of it by following what the team is up too during spring practice sessions.
Recently he shared a video from practice that will give people a little insight in to his methods.
It's all about competition and fun and what better way to have a little bit of both than to pit players against each other in a simple little competition. It's an oldie, but a goodie--the tug of war. In the video linebacker Reggie Green and wideout Jordan Jones engage in a pretty good contest, but Green eventually wins out.
